About the Project
The Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) at Dell Medical School is designed to help train future doctors in a team-based, hands-on learning environment. This program gives young physicians the skills they need to work safely and efficiently in today’s healthcare system, while also helping improve care for people in the surrounding community. The ASC project includes the build-out of about 23,500 square feet of shell space inside the Health Transformation Building (HTB), which ÃÛÖÏãÌÒ originally delivered as the Construction Manager at Risk. The $16.6 million project features four operating rooms, a pre-op area, a central sterile space, offices and support areas. This facility supports both education and patient care, combining modern medical spaces with a focus on collaboration and efficiency.
